Chain Link Snowman Craft:

Materials:

  • Glue
  • Tape
  • Scissors
  • Paper towel/toilet paper rolls
  • Paper
  • String
  • Markers
  • Paint and paint brushes (optional)

Instructions:

  • Cut toilet paper/paper towel rolls around 2 inches thick so they create little circles. The more circles you have, the longer your snowman will be!
    • If you want your snowman to be white, you can paint each circular cut out white and set them out to dry. Once the rolls are done drying you can move onto the next step!*
  • Next, cut a slit in each cut circle and use the openings to create a chain.
  • Once the circles are interlocked, glue them together so that the chain will not come apart!
  • Then, cut out a piece of paper in the form of a circle. Draw a face on the circle, make it fun and creative!
  • Then, cut a slip out of the top of the paper towel/toilet paper roll chain. Next, cut a section out of the end of the circle you made for the face, so that the paper towel roll chain can go through the opening.
  • Tape or glue the slit in the top of the chain together, so that the face is connected to the chain.
  • With a marker, add details and designs to your snowman, like a hat, buttons, etc.
  • Finally, tape a loop of string on the back of the snowman’s head so you can hang it up somewhere.

Baby Deer Craft:

Materials:

Instructions:

  • Go outside and collect some sticks that are around the same size (four sticks will be used for each deer).
  • Cut out cereal boxes and deer templates.
  • Trace the templates onto the cereal box. If you want to make a deer that is bending down, make sure you fold the cereal box and trace accordingly.
  • Then, cut out the traced deer templates.
  • Hot glue the ears and tail onto the body of the deer.
  • Draw or paint eyes, a nose, and then get creative! Add designs like polka dots, swirls, etc. to make your deer unique.
  • Finally, glue the sticks to the body of the deer to create little deer legs.
