This will be a no-spoiler review of Spiderman: No Way Home. My overall opinion of this movie is that it is really enjoyable as a whole. The overall plot of this movie is that Spider-Man (Peter Parker) had his identity revealed by Mysterio. Obviously, this comes with bad things attached to it. He cannot go out and do normal things and no longer has a normal life.
The reveal of his identity also has an effect on his friend, Ned, and his girlfriend, MJ. They applied to go to MIT and didn’t get in due to all the drama associated with their names. This causes Peter to go and talk to Dr. Strange to get everything back to normal. But during the spell to make people forget about his identity, some things go wrong and suddenly villains from other universes are coming into Peter’s.
First, I want to talk about the action in this movie. There is jam-packed action, hand-to-hand combat and magic combat. I would rate the action a 9.5/10. Throughout the movie there is action and there are two major fights in the middle with stellar CGI. Out of all of the Spider-man movies, it had the best action which was one of the best aspects of this movie.
Next I want to talk about the Lighting and Visuals of the movie. In the theater some of the visuals were okay and you could see there were some times where the green screen was really obvious. Then there were other times where the visual effects were really good.
I would give the visual effects a 9/10. One aspect that Marvel Studios is really good at is de-aging and they de-aged Willam Defoe (Green Goblin) and Alfred Molina (Doc Ock).
The Acting in this movie was splendid. Tom Holland (Spiderman) carried the acting in this movie and gave a really emotional performance. Some other great actors in this movie were Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Strange), Zendaya (MJ), and Willam Dafoe (Green Goblin). I would rate the acting in this movie a 10/10. This movie is definitely the most emotional movie out of the trilogy.
My next topic will be about the end of the movie. The ending of this movie had some mixed reactions online with the community being divided. I really enjoyed the ending of this movie and thought it was the best for the characters and the plot of the story. There were some loose ends but I would give the ending a 8.5/10.
Overall I would recommend this movie to anyone who is a fan of superhero movies. It’s a great watch with many emotional and funny parts of the movie. I would rate this movie a 9.5 out of 10.
